Zorro's Kitchen Printer Setup

Connect the kitchen printer to the new ordering system from a store computer on the same Wi-Fi as the printer.

Step 1

Download the agent plus the launcher for this computer

Click the agent first, then choose temporary start or auto-start for Windows or Mac.

Step 2

Put the agent and launcher in the same folder

Example: both on the Desktop, or both in Downloads. The auto-start installer also needs the agent in the same folder.

Step 3

Have the print bridge token ready

Ask Veli for the token. Do not write it in this page or send it by text.

Step 4

Start the printer spooler on the store network

This must run on a computer at Zorro's that can reach printer 192.168.20.68:9100. No-token readiness check: run python3 zorros_print_agent.py --status. No-paper check: run python3 zorros_print_agent.py --doctor first. Windows temporary: double-click start_print_agent_windows.bat. Windows permanent: run install_print_agent_windows_task.bat once. Mac temporary: run start_print_agent_mac.sh. Mac permanent: run install_print_agent_macos_launchagent.sh once. Auto-start installers start on login and restart the spooler if it exits.

Step 5

Confirm the paper ticket printed

The setup ticket proves this computer can reach the kitchen printer. After that, confirmed phone orders will enter POS/KDS and spool here automatically.
